The second area of interest is trying to contact my mother's half sister, or anyone who knows about her.

My mother had / has a half sister, whom she never knew, called Jean De Jersey who was born on Guernsey in 1936. I would love to make contact with her if possible.

As I've already said, the web is a wonderful tool. It has put me in contact with a branch of my family I never knew existed and enabled me to find out a little bit more about my great

grandfather, Richard Firkin.
